Our "Kids and Parents" track of courses are designed to take enthusiastic family members through a series of classes and lessons that are sure to bring you closer together as you enjoy the great outdoors. Whether sending youth off to fish on their own or joining in the fun through family fishing events, our "Kids and Parents" course will make life-long anglers out of any and every member of your family.

Kids Fishing Camp Youth Fishing 101 - A 6 hour course for youth ages 9-14 in Nederland, CO.	$75 / Angler
This course is designed especially for youth ages 9-14 and is run out of the Wild Bear Center for Nature Discovery in Nederland, Colorado. Classes are scheduled for 9AM-3PM once a week from the beginning of the summer. Whether they are learning about conservation, fly tying, casting, bugs, or reeling in a big one on our nearby fishing preserve, it will be fun and informative as kids get hooked on fly fishing. Lunch and drinks are not provided.

This course is an all-inclusive, 7-hour interactive workshop for novice and intermediate fly fishers and includes more field time than the 102 course. Class will be held on one of our many Blue Ribbon/Gold Medal trout streams. In this course, you will have a brief review of the basics. Class will then go to the water where you will spend time on casting and presentation to fish in the river and/or pond.
